Fulamingo Japanese grocery delivery (romantic)

For those snacking in Industrial Southeast Portland, your hero has returned to shiny imported horses.

Cargo, an international merchandise store, dedicated its two shelves to store Fulamingo's non-perishable merchandise, a well-planned Japanese grocery store. Fulamingo announced the good news on its social media accounts yesterday.

Everyone is thinking about a question: Does this mean that a giraffe-style takeaway market is about to appear?

Giraffe Goods is a neat little delicatessen in Cargo, selling snacks and lunches. Unfortunately, just as the market started to receive the praise it deserves, the pandemic shut Cargo off. This small delicatessen had to close its doors and take away its Oyatsupan milk bread egg sandwiches.

Later in the fall of the same year, Kana Hirohara, a co-owner of Giraffe Goods, opened a new business in the Gotham Building in North Portland. Fulamingo provides a lot of things you can get on Giraffe. The only problem is: you have to remember to order it, and there is no window shop option.

From the Instagram post, we can see that Fulamingo is stocking Kewpie Mayo (better than all other mayonnaises in all aspects), Wide Ramen Snack, grapefruit soda, Genki Calamasi carbonated citrus drinks and various Pocky.

It is true that you can find most of these products in large Asian supermarkets farther away (such as Uwashimaya or Fubon Shopping Center), but the convenience and selection of Hirohara products attract enthusiastic followers, if you haven’t already Going through the site... When you shop, a cute illustrated flamingo jumps out. This is great.

Hirohara said that when she was looking for a new location about a month ago, Fulamingo made the loans needed to relocate the entity too scary. "If I did, I wouldn't have any bad months," she told WW. She decided to streamline Fulamingo, remove pre-made foods and only provide non-perishable groceries, until next year she will reassess whether the deli is more feasible.

Eat: Fulamingo shelf located in Cargo, 81 SE Yamhill St., fulamingo.com. Wednesday to Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm.

We will send you a newsletter every week that contains what you need to know.
