Beijing, October 14, 2021/PRNewswire/ - Global AMR leader Geek is proud to announce the launch of RoboShuttle RS8-DA, an 8 meter high flexible arm robot. The highest new robot in the industry will enable customers to make the most of their warehouses.

RoboShuttle is a safe, efficient, and flexible high-density solution that solves the complex logistics scenarios brought about by the rise of e-commerce and the need for systems that can intelligently optimize valuable warehouse space. Compatible with 8-meter-high shelves, as well as handbags, cartons or boxes of different widths, the robot can increase the space utilization rate by 5 times.

Liu Kai, co-founder and vice president of smart warehouse products at Geek, said: “As e-commerce and warehouse rents soar, companies need flexibility and space utilization that traditional automation cannot provide. Our engineering team continues to develop innovative solutions to meet This demand allows our customers to remain competitive while providing a safe working environment for their employees."

The robot adopts a slim and sturdy chassis design, flexible door frame and double-deep telescopic wishbones, which can walk through narrow aisles with a maximum height of 8145 mm. Using its wishbone, the robot can access inventory lines of different depths as low as 285 mm and as high as 7820 mm, with the goal of horizontal and vertical warehouse space.

Equipped with a smart depth camera and high-precision sensors, the robot can adjust its arms to pick up boxes of different sizes, optimizing the overall shelf space. The storage location can also be allocated according to the size of the box to improve inventory organization. The robot is connected to the WMS and driven by an intelligent algorithm to automatically transfer up to 8 suitcases to and from the workstation, and automatically execute the picking, replenishment, reverse logistics and inventory check processes.

Kai Liu added: “As a long-term automation partner with strong R&D capabilities, we believe that we have the responsibility to promote the various transformations that companies may face when using flexible robots. Our AMR solutions are tailored to the challenges of specific industries for logistics operators. The problem facing today."
