Last-minute Long Beach options available for New Year’s Eve – Press Telegram

It’s time to say goodbye to 2021 and hello to 2022. Long Beach eateries and venues are ready to help celebrate.

Urban Plates has takeout options featuring family meals that come with two sides. Choices include Grilled Cage Free Chicken, Wild Caught Ahi, Grilled Grass-Fed Steak and more. Call 562-512-1608 or visit www.urbanplates.com/locations/long-beach. Urban Plates is in 2nd& PCH at 6440 E. PCH.

The celebration gets underway at 5 p.m. at Shoreline Village. There’s live music, a DJ and a Kids’ New Year’s Eve Countdown at 9 p.m. Music continues after the 9 p.m. countdown.

The Aquarium of the Pacific is hosting New Year’s Eve Presented by Night Dive starting at 8 p.m. There will be a live band and DJs in the galleries. Tickets are $49.95 ($44.95 for members). The Attic’s New Year’s Eve Prix-Fix Dinner starting at 6 p.m. features entrée choices of Chicken Fried Steak, Tomahawk Pork Chop and Wild Mushroom Pot Pie along with appetizers and dessert. Boarding starts at 9 p.m. for the New Year’s Eve Cruise on Harbor Breeze’s Sir Winston. Tickets start at $150 and include music, an open bar, appetizers and two DJs. This event is 21+ only. Tickets are available at www.tickets.harbor-cruises.com.

Fuego at Hotel Maya has New Year’s Eve dinner from 5 to 10 p.m. with entrée choices including Filet Mignon, Sea Bass Colorado Lamb Chop and more. There will be live music starting 9 p.m. Prices range from $150 to $200. They’ll also have special brunches Saturday, Jan. 1 and Sunday, Jan. 2. Michael’s on Naples has a prix-fixe meal from 7 to 11:30 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. Specials dishes include Ossetra Caviar, hand-made olive leaf pasta, grilled lamb loin and more. The price is $125. For reservations, call 562-439-7080. Michael’s is at 5620 E. Second St.

Roe Seafood hosts a special three-course prix-fixe dinner for New Year’s Eve with entrée choices of Braised Beef, Grilled Half Rack of Lamb, Wood-Grilled Sea Bream, Morro Bay miso Butterfish and Pan Roasted Airline Chicken Breast. Sevilla will start serving at 6 p.m. New Year’s Eve, They’ll have food specials like Lobster Bisque with Puff Pastry along with the regular menu. There will be live Latin music from 8 to 10 p.m., and a D.J. will alternate with live music from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. You can also partake of the Flamenco Dinner Show Experience at 7 p.m. with three-course prix-fixe Paella menu priced at $89.50 per person.

Saint & Second will be open from 11 a.m. to midnight on New Year’s Eve and 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on New Year’s Day at 4828 E. Second St. Call 562-433-4828 or go to www.saintandsecond.com.

Pop, fizz, clink is the theme for Tantalum on New Year’s Eve. Doors open at 4 p.m. and the evening includes both live music and DJs and a Champagne toast at midnight. Reservations are suggested.  Call 562-431-1414 or go to www.tantalumrestaurant.com. Tantalum is at 6272 E. PCH in Marina Pacifica.
